Refund policy

🕒 Return Period:

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. To get started, please email our Customer Service Team at contact@shoereligion.com.

If you created an account at theshoereligion.co.uk/account, you can also manage your orders and submit a return request directly from your dashboard. Once your return is approved, you'll have 7 days to ship the item back. If not shipped within this time, your return will be cancelled.

We’ll issue a return shipping label, and the cost of this (£6.99) will be deducted from your refund where applicable.

📦 Return Conditions:

Items must be:

  • Unworn and in original condition

  • In the original packaging (including shoebox)

  • Have all tags intact, including the Shoe Religion authentication tag

Returns that don’t meet these conditions may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee.

💸 Return Costs:

Faulty or Incorrect Items:
We’ll cover return shipping if your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described.

Other Returns:
You’ll be responsible for the return postage fee unless your item is faulty or we've made an error.

🔁 Restocking Fee (Online Orders Only):

If an item is returned in a condition that doesn’t meet our requirements, we may still accept the return with a 10% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. The item will be re-authenticated before the refund is issued.

💰 Refund Process:

Inspection:
All returned items go through quality control and authentication checks. If the item fails inspection, we’ll notify you. You’ll then have 30 days to cover the return shipping fee to have the item sent back to you.

Approval Notification:
We’ll let you know whether your refund has been approved or declined after the inspection.

Refund Timeline:
If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving your return or within 14 days of your cancellation notice if your order hasn’t been dispatched.

Non-Refundable Charges:

  • Original shipping fees

  • Return shipping fees (if applicable)

  • Customs charges and import VAT (for international orders)

🌍 International Orders:

Import taxes, VAT, and customs duties are non-refundable. For advice on reclaiming these fees, contact your local customs office.

🏬 In-Store Returns:

Items bought in-store must be returned in-store within 14 days.
You can exchange them or receive store credit. Any price differences will be settled at the time of the return.

Shoe Religion reserves the right to update or amend this return policy at any time without notice. This policy applies to all orders placed online or in-store.
